Duy Vu is the founder of Mid-American Financial Group. He is a Certified Mortgage Professional™ practitioner and Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist®. Duy holds licenses in Ohio, Kentucky and Florida. He has been in the financial services industry for over 17 years, over 15 years have been in the mortgage industry. Duy currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Ohio Association of Mortgage Professionals since 2008.
He is a past President of the South Chapter of the Ohio Association of Mortgage Brokers. He is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Professionals and Kentucky Association of Mortgage Professionals. Duy attended Miami University (Oxford), University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State and received his Business Marketing degree. While at UC, he was founding father of his fraternity, Pi Lambda Phi. He played soccer for Cincinnati State.

After attending University of Cincinnati with an academic scholarship, I earned my B.A. in Business Economics. I knew that I wanted to be in the mortgage industry and find a rewarding career that would make a beneficial impact on people's lives. Being licensed in Ohio and Kentucky and affiliated with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, Ohio Association of Mortgage Professionals, National Association of Professional Mortgage Women and National Notary Association, I make sure that I stay informed on industry changes, updates and guidelines.

With 14 years experience in the mortgage industry I am extremely well versed in all aspects of home lending. My primary position is to be the liaison between the client and the lender. I work side by side with a very talented group of mortgage loan officers to ensure that each client’s specific needs are met. I pride myself in helping those hard to place clients that have struggled in the past to get financing. As a wife and mother, the family oriented atmosphere here at Mid-American Financial is what makes it so enjoyable to come to work.
All through my working career, I have been helping and assisting people in one way or another. For 15 years, I was an Ophthalmic Nurse, specializing in diseases of the eye and worked for 5 retinol surgeons at the Cleveland Clinic. I then decided to pursue a career in the Real Estate industry. Upon the completion of my classes, I then decided to become a Loan Specialist in order to help people with their financial needs and goals.
I have been in the financial services industry for 11 years and get great satisfaction, for myself and my clients knowing that I have helped improve their overall financial situation, and help them to achieve whatever their goal might be for the future. My greatest passion of all is helping and saving animals by working through the ASPCA and Humane Society
Since October 2001, Dan Broxterman has worked his way to many great awards in his tenure as a Loan Officer and Business Development Manager. He has earned the Outstanding Customer Service Award for 2010 and 2011, as well as Loan Officer of the Year Award for 2011, among many other awards over his tenure. Dan prides himself in his repeat and referral business over the years.

Phillip Henderson Jr. has been in the mortgage financial services industry for over 13 years. He has been with MAFG since 2004 and was Broker of The Year in 2005. He is a member of the Ohio Association of Mortgage Professionals and National Association of Mortgage Professionals. Phillip attended the University of Cincinnati majoring in Civil Engineering.
I have a background of serving and helping people in church ministry for over 22 years. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Mid-America Christian University in music and church ministry. From there I furthered my education at Houston Graduate School of Theology.
Real Estate and financing have always been passions of mine so I decided to pursue this career. I’m now excited to apply some of my strengths of helping people with this awesome team here at Mid-American Financial Group. With over 16 years in Customer Service and the Hospitality Business. Jeff displays Honesty and Integrity in all aspects of his job. He possesses the knowledge and ability to properly place his clients in the perfect Loan arrangement that mirror their individual needs. Jeff was born and raised in Cincinnati. He attended Cincinnati State and the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Real Estate Technology and Organizational Leadership. Outside of work, some of Jeff’s hobbies and interests include Golfing, playing the Guitar, the Reds, the Bengals and watching Jeopardy.

He founded Citizen Star Financial Services, which was in business for 7 years. During that time, he served as PAC Chairman of The Ohio Association of Mortgage Brokers and was on the OAMB Communication/Marketing Committee. Prior to CSFS, he was involved with his family business, Steinberg's TV and Appliance for 20 years. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and was President of the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.

Dan Schlueter has been in the financial services industry for 18 years, with the last 16 years being in the mortgage industry. Dan began his mortgage career originating loans in Cincinnati, Ohio. He then went on to start and manage the Toledo, Ohio branch for Midwest Financial & Mortgage Services for 10 years. He then started another Branch within the company in Tampa, FL. Dan has remained in Tampa and is the current Branch Manager for MAFG for the Tampa, FL office. Dan attended the University of Toledo majoring in Business
